Majestic marches on

1st Jul 2010

One of Rochman Landau's major retail clients has been featured heavily in the press recently. The Times reported on Monday 28th June that Majestic Wine opened six new stores last year, and that the business is now seeking to double its rate of new openings to 12 per year. Majestic has a target of reaching at least 250 sites.

Tony Platman of our Property department acted for Majestic on all of these acquisitions and plays a crucial role in turning around the purchases of the sites quickly. For further comment or information, please contact Tony.

Elephant Parade London

24th May 2010

The Elephant Parade has come to Baker Street outside Rochman Landau’s offices. This fundraising project has brought public awareness to the campaign for endangered Asian elephants. Running until the 23 June, the promotion has seen 250 individually designed and hand painted fibre glass elephants scattered all over central London. The elephants, which will be auctioned by Sotheby’s on 3 July in aid of UK conservation charities working in Asia, have captured the spirit of summer.
