We deal frequently with divorces involving foreign jurisdictions. As a consequence, we have built excellent relationships with overseas lawyers and other professional advisers. We have close links with Japan (one of our partners is a qualified Japanese Lawyer) and Australia (one of our family lawyers is cross-trained and can advise on Australian family law) and numerous contacts in other jurisdictions.
We are familiar with the types of issues that can arise where there is a foreign element - tracing overseas assets, advising on recognition of marriages and divorces and dealing with the consequences where a parent either wishes to take children to live abroad or needs to set up proper robust arrangements for contact.
